According to Mighty Nut – their powdered peanut butter has 85% less calories than traditional peanut butter, 5-6 grams of protein per serving (depending on flavor), and only 1-1.5 grams of fat. I received the plain peanut butter flavor as well as a chocolate flavor. The peanut butter is made with real natural ingredients – peanuts! And natural chocolate.
I have had a chance to add it to smoothies and I made some delicious chocolate chip peanut butter cookies today. They were the bomb! It’s great in smoothies because it works just like protein powder and keeps the smoothie light. Sometimes straight peanut butter will stay in chunks even when blended and this eliminates that.
My absolute favorite use so far is for baking and today I made the best peanut butter chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. The powdered peanut butter is easy to mix in and gives flavor without adding weight and bulk to the cookie. Here is the recipe for these delicious cookies! Enjoy!
